Ukiyo-e Prints & their Impact on Design
Publication Design

This project is rooted in Japanese history and the era of printmaking that profoundly shaped Western design. The publication is organized into seven chapters, each following a consistent structure with an introduction, historical context spread, artist profile, featured works, and a conclusion. To reflect the theme, I designed the layout so that images and text subtly layer over one another, echoing the visual language of printmaking.
