Thai Bistro
Logo & Take-out Packaging Design
This project centers on Thai Bistro, an authentic Thai restaurant in Grand Rapids, Michigan best known for its take-out dishes. The logo redesign began with a study of Thai writing and letterforms, which informed a thumbnailing process in which I hand-drew the logo to echo Thai script. I also created a sub-mark and illustrated food icons to develop into a pattern. For the take-out packaging, I designed a paper bag seal, box belly band, take-out menu, and chopstick holder. Each asset was intended to function as a cohesive set within a single take-out bag.
